  • Undertake local authority searches and analyse results so you are fully informed about the property
  • Arrange potential completion dates
  • Create and exchange contracts
  • Transfer deposits
  • Prepare completion statements and transfer deeds
  • Liaise with mortgage lenders
  • Transfer purchase balances
  • Submit tax returns and pay Stamp Duty
  • Ensure the property ownership is transferred at the Land Registry

As you can see, it’s a substantial legal process and being sure that each stage has been promptly, and properly, completed can give you real peace of mind.

A conveyancing commitment from our property solicitors, Cardiff

Every property purchase or sale is different, and we recognise that. At our Cardiff conveyancing solicitors, our service is tailored to your needs and you will have a designated contact with one person who will be responsible for keeping you up to date on the progress of your house purchase, house sale or remortgage.

We also know that nobody needs unexpected expenses when buying or selling property, which is why we make clear the fees we’ll be charging, including all disbursements, so that you know exactly what you’re spending. We don't hide fees, we tell you these from the outset.  We don't add extra costs for this, that or the other.  Unless something clearly unexpected happens, the price you are quoted is the price that you pay.

Testimonials

"Our house sale was extremely complicated. Robin and his team helped us resolve some difficult and potentially expensive issues which came to light during the process. Robin responded very promptly to our correspondence and kept us fully informed through the whole process. Very pleased with Robertsons and have already recommended them to others." C.Block

"We began conveyancing (buying and selling) with a different solicitor, but due to the requirements of our mortgage provider, changed our purchasing conveyancing to Robertsons (Samantha Cavender). We are so glad we did, the comparison with our other solicitor is chalk and cheese. Robertsons were professional, quick to respond and proactive in contacting us when needed. The process was clear and advice was professional, helpful and honest. Using Robertsons made the process so much less stressful and we will use Robertsons again." S Royston

"We have used Robertsons for both family law matters and conveyancing matters. Each time we have received first-class and friendly service. The team are clearly very knowledgeable, that they're personable too is a huge bonus! We'd use Robertsons Solicitors every time." C. Gray
